A Chinese mum-of-two terrified seaside bathers when she showed off her homemade full body sun protection suit.Mai Lee, of Qingdao, eastern China, devised the bizarre outfit herself for summer jogging after reading about the risk of skin cancer.
But other holidaymakers ran for cover when she emerged in the weird get-up.
"She looks like a ghost, or one of those Egyptian mummies with a scarlet face - but her eyes and mouth look like holes in a plate.
"It's very creepy and she can't be enjoying herself," said sunbather Lin Feng.
But Lee explained: "I love jogging and running and I love the beach but I don't want to burn my skin so I cover it all up."
